Twice in Same Week, McKay to Whitehouse: Now Return These Donations

RI State Senator Josh Miller arrested for keying truck with anti-Biden sticker.
WARWICK, RHODE ISLAND (June 23, 2023) – Rhode Island's U.S. Senate candidate Ray McKay calls on incumbent Senator Whitehouse to return campaign donations from State Senator Josh Miller following Miller's arrest for vandalism / malicious injury to property. Miller keyed a parked truck, bearing a "Biden sucks" sticker, in the parking lot of Garden City Center.

The Democrat Miller, representing areas in Cranston and Providence, first lied and denied the incident. He later admitted he keyed the other vehicle "because he [the other driver] was daring me to, basically."

"Sheldon Whitehouse should first condemn State Senator Josh Miller's actions and then return his campaign donations so Senator Josh Miller can pay for the damages he inflicted," said Mr. McKay.

Sheldon Whitehouse accepted $1,615.00 in past and recent donations from Senator Josh Miller according to FEC filings.

McKay added, "Everyone has the right to display their political viewpoints without fear of being assaulted even if you strongly disagree.”
